Description

Costa Brava is located on the northeastern part of Catalonia, Spain. Costa Brava literally translates into the “coast rugged”. As the name suggests this resort is rocky and has many unevenly shaped cliffs. The beaches of Costa Brava are sprinkled by local tavernas, restaurants and small shops. This resort is mainly famed among the young Brits and UK citizens.

Shopping

Little further along the skiing, is a small town called La Bisbal d’Empordà, where travelers can buy the best ceramics and potteries. There are many shops in and around Costa Brava that include D’Arau, Armand Basi, Lotta and others where travelers are left with a spoilt choice of articles.

Restaurants

There is an assortment of restaurants at Costa Brava that serve both local and global delicacies. Tourists inclined to taste quality sea foods should not miss visiting the restaurant Marina. Restaurant Vegetariano La Polenta serves varieties of vegetarian delicacies and is best suggested for vegetarians. Other recommended restaurants include La Taberna de Tossa, La Sala de Cel and Discoteca Xarai.

Night Life

Nightlife in Costa Brava is confined to talking and dining over drinks. For an extensive nightlife tourists can visit the neighboring resort of Lloret, which is just few kilometers away from Costa Brava.

Activities

Scuba diving, tennis, golf, horse riding, yachting and skiing are some of the activities that tourists can enjoy in Costa Brava. Boat trips can be held to the interiors of the resort.
